Evolving Care for MEDB Youth and Families: A Continuum of Care Conference 2026

The Military Child & Family Collaboratory (MCFC) team at the Consortium for Defense Psychology (CDP) is excited to announce the third annual conference, Evolving Care for MEDB Youth and Families: A Continuum of Care.

Evolving Care for MEDB Youth and Families: A Continuum of Care brings together researchers, clinicians, educators, policymakers, military families, and community leaders to explore innovative approaches to supporting youth with mental health, emotional, developmental, and behavioral (MEDB) needs.

As systems of care continue to evolve, children and families increasingly rely on coordinated support across healthcare, educational, and community settings. This conference will examine how emerging technologies, integrated care models, and collaborative partnerships can strengthen early identification, improve access to services, and enhance outcomes for youth and families.

MCFC Conference Agenda 2026Sessions will highlight advancements in areas such as artificial intelligence, virtual reality, telehealth, and other digital tools that are reshaping assessment, intervention, and service delivery. Discussions will also explore school-based supports, neurodiversity-affirming practices, family engagement, and community-driven approaches that promote resilience and well-being.

Special attention will be given to the unique experiences of military-connected children and families, with a focus on building responsive systems of care that support youth across the full continuum of development, health, and wellness.

Through shared learning and cross-sector collaboration, participants will identify opportunities to advance innovative, evidence-informed solutions that improve outcomes for children, youth, and families.
