Training
In this 90-minute webinar, participants will be introduced to key findings from the Military Family Advisory Network’s Military Family 360 research, the largest independent, biennial survey examining the lived experiences of military and veteran families. Drawing on data from thousands of service members, veterans, retirees, and their spouses/partners, this seminar will highlight how family-level factors such as financial strain, child care access, food insecurity, employment challenges, and transition stress intersect with psychological health and readiness. The presentation will emphasize relevant trends and disparities that impact service members with special attention to how family context influences stress exposure, resilience, and help-seeking behaviors. Participants will review research-informed insights that can enhance assessment, case conceptualization, and intervention planning when working with military-affiliated clients and will leave with an increased understanding of how population-level family data can inform evidence-based, culturally responsive clinical practice.
